It’s Not Easy Being Green

Hi everyone!

This week I came up with a really good green smoothie recipe that tastes delicious and looks good too! Sometimes I mix the wrong fruits with greens and the smoothie turns out brown and ugly and then people give me weird looks as I drink my unattractive (although very tasty) shake. Anyway, this smoothie was such a pretty green and I was so proud of it so I had to share it with you guys! It even matched the Hydrangeas 🙂


Spinach, Banana & Peach Smoothie

 I love drinking smoothies because they are super easy to make, they satisfy my sweet tooth in a healthy way, and they can be very filling if you include the right ingredients. For this smoothie I blended the following items.

Spinach, Banana & Peach Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 1 large handful of spinach
  • 1 small banana
  • between 2/3 cup and 1 cup of frozen peaches
  • 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 7 oz of Fage plain greek yogurt (for a less filling version you can eliminate the yogurt and add more almond milk, water, or coconut water)
  • a drizzle of honey 🙂
