Happy Monday!! I hope everyone is enjoying the start to their week 🙂 Whenever it starts to get colder out and fall starts to settle in.. I always crave comfort snacks like cookies and muffins and scones! That’s why I decided to come up with a bunch of healthy options. First fall snack of the series is trail mix 🙂
Trail mix is the best because you can put anything in it so you never get bored. Whenever I make trail mix, I like to include some different types of nuts, at least one type of dried fruit, and one (or two!) treat-like add-ins. Here are the ingredients for this week’s trail mix.
- 1 cup of roasted almonds
- 1 cup of roasted peanuts
- 1 cup of dried cherries 🙂
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup cheerios
