Smoothie of the Week

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Since this week is a holiday week, I knew my eating patterns wouldn’t be the best… so I prepped some smoothies on Monday to use as quick snacks throughout the week. This week’s smoothies are Tropical Strawberry Apple & Green Tropical Apple 🙂

In order to save time throughout the week, I prepped the smoothies by portioning out all of the fruits and veggies in small jars and placing them in the freezer. That way, when I’m ready to drink the smoothie, I can just add liquid, blend, and enjoy 🙂

So far these smoothies have made it much easier to make healthy choices. I had one for breakfast yesterday when I was rushing out of the house to shop and one today as a snack while prepping deliciously tempting Thanksgiving side dishes 🙂 I’m not saying that I’m going to pass up the mashed potatoes and apple pie for a tiny smoothie… BUT having these smoothies on hand makes me feel a little bit better about indulging in the holiday treats!
