Greek Yogurt & Berries

On mornings when I’m craving something sweet, I like to have greek yogurt and fruit with an additional special topping depending on what I have and what I’m craving. The other day I really wanted a muffin or some sort of breakfast bakery treat, but I also had a lot going on for the rest of the day and I needed to feel full and energized instead of sluggish and weak.

So I decided to have greek yogurt with berries and cereal. This combination had just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my craving, but the fruit and the yogurt helped me to feel great for the rest of the day!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup non fat vanilla greek yogurt
  • handful of blueberries
  • 1 strawberry sliced thinly
  • small handful of peanut butter & cocoa balls from Whole Food’s Market.

Whenever you guys are really craving something sweet, greek yogurt is a great solution because it’s packed with protein and it tastes good with all different types of fruit (for added vitamins and antioxidants) AND you can add in a small treat to make your soul smile (maybe cereal, chocolate chips, etc.).
